This look was made in my Making Fashion course. We were prompted to create a look that we thought the future of fashion would look like. This started off as a two piece ensemble but seemed to work better independently. I wanted to utilize LED lights to represent the technology in the future.

Before I constructed this piece I had to prep the fabric by attaching the lights on the fabric. This was definitely the longest part of this process. In the end it was totally worth it! I made the bottom portion of this dress by draping the fabric. Hopefully LED fashion becomes a bigger trend soon because this was definitely a show stopper!
